Alex's Blog: Don’t forget the others

  • kathymagrino · 5 months ago
Hi, Alex! This is a great post and I love the concept of reaching out to the "others" -- but I question whether or not it's a "generational" thing -- I'm in your parents' generation, but I gave up on the YellowPages and the daily newspaper a while ago...

    Hi Kathy,

I understand what you mean, to many degrees it is not generational. At times I personally have preferred the Yellow Pages. I often hate to generalize and you did catch me out a little there ;) But I also don't think it can be denied that statistically, young will be adopted into that world moreso than the old.

Statistically, I COMPLETELY agree with you!

By the way, it's so good to see you back in action on Twitter and here. Looking forward to your future posts and Tweets! Goodnight!

Its good to see you back online @ Twitter... Too many 'consultants' online yeah? Guess people believe using the net may achieve set targets but sometimes the old method is better? Could be wrong here...

Yeah I agree with what you said that the internet is likley an extension not the solution. The solution may vary from business to business right?

    All up good blog

A deliberate adopter, I really enjoyed reading this!

I think it's more than a generational thing, too. Sometimes it's due to geography (less access in rural areas) and economic (sure you can use the computer at the library, but ....) I can see how it's a marketing thing ... and also a level playing field thing, too.
